Customers may be eligible for on-site service depending on the Covered Equipment’s location. On-site service shall consist of Apple dispatching a technician to the customer’s Covered Equipment location for the purpose of repair service. Apple shall determine eligibility for repair service after the completion of technical support troubleshooting.

Repairs necessitated by software problems, or as a result of alteration, adjustment, or repair by anyone other than Apple or its agents are not included in Apple’s repair hardware service.

Enterprises

Supervision and Enrollment. Scalefusion extends support for Apple Device Enrollment Program. The Apple Developer Enterprise Program offers a complete set of tools for developing, testing, and distributing apps to users. You can distribute apps either by hosting them on a web server or with an MDM solution. Mac apps and installers can be signed and notarized with your Developer ID for Gatekeeper, which helps protect macOS from malware.

Customer agrees to cooperate with the technician, provide full access to the Covered Equipment and provide access to power at no charge to Apple.

If customer fails to provide access to or be in attendance at the Covered Equipment’s location at the designated time for the Apple technician to perform service, service will not be provided and customer may be liable for additional charges for a subsequent visit.

If the Covered Equipment is located in a covered zip or postal code and Apple makes a determination that repair service is required before 2:00 p.m. local time on a business day, in most cases, Apple will deliver on-site service to the location the following business day. Vanson Bourne, a third-party market research firm, was hired by Jamf to conduct a study to uncover key drivers of Apple in enterprise adoption and satisfaction with the Mac. Their results reveal incredible levels of employee satisfaction, productivity, creativity and collaboration for Mac users across all major types of employee groups (IT, Human Resources, Sales, and Engineering).

When asked how their work has improved as a result of using a Mac for work, the answers were very favorable for Apple in the enterprise:

  • 97% of respondents claim increased productivity
  • 95% claim increased creativity
  • 94% claim self-sufficiency with technology
  • 91% claim increased collaboration

Moreover, the vast majority of people surveyed (79%) stated that they would not be able to do their jobs as well without a Mac. I personally echo those results as I would gladly purchase my own computer over having to use a Windows machine. I’ve become accustomed to the flexibility of apps like Alfred, PDFpen, and Soulver. As an iPhone user, I also love the seamless integration between my mobile devices and my laptop.

Research confirms Mac users experience minimal issues on their computers. In fact, 70% of all respondents have experienced two or fewer issues on their Mac within the last 12 months. Of the respondents who cite issues, the leading culprit was actually a network problem — nothing to do with the device itself.

While Chromebooks are certainly popular in the K–12 market, the Mac is really heating up in the enterprise.
